As an expert dedicated to your travel needs, my mission is to connect you to reputable service providers, ensuring you receive the best value for your trip.  As a destination specialist, I provide personalized itineraries, recommendations for hidden gems, fabulous food, and cultural experiences unique to you.  As a Virtuoso Travel Advisor, I have access to a network of preferred suppliers, offering exclusive perks you won't find online. I am here to save you hours spent researching online so all you have to do is show up and have fun. I am also your dedicated travel advocate and a real person to ensure your journey is seamless and so fantastic, that you hire me again!

I hope to provide you with enough information about the value I can bring to designing your trip so that you do not hesitate to engage me in your trip planning. For me to begin to research and design your trip, you must first pay a non-refundable travel planning fee.

This is a great question but it varies greatly depending on the type of trip, destination, and time of year. For full-service planning trips, I ask for a minimum of 4 months to curate your itinerary and execute the bookings.  The closer you plan to the time of travel the more limited selection you have and pricing can be inflated.

I recommend completing an inquiry form as soon as you have a trip in mind that you plan to take.  We will set up a free consultation and from there, I will give you a more personalized recommendation on booking time frame.

 I can assist with booking international flights, if desired, for an additional service fee. I also advise on flight questions regarding connections, layovers, airports, etc. I do not book flights using points or miles. Yes, The Pampered Tourist offers group travel packages for families, friends, and hobby groups. Our group packages* can be pre-packaged or customizable to include activities and accommodations that are suitable for all members of the group. I would be happy to help organize this for you so no one person has to be burdened with this daunting task. 

I do not plan destination weddings or Disney/Universal trips but I am more than happy to refer you to a trusted colleague.

My role is to provide you with the best overall experience and value for your budget and that may include my knowledge of a particular offer.  My real value is to understand what you want to feel and experience on your vacation and create a customized itinerary that may not be part of a package or offer. 

I always recommend a comprehensive travel protection plan, especially when traveling internationally. Most credit card travel insurance does not cover comprehensive coverage beyond a limited trip disruption or lost baggage claim.  Comprehensive travel protection offered by The Pampered Tourist includes medical evacuation and repatriation and may cover you for pre-existing medical conditions as well as other cancellation reasons. It may also include trip disruption for all of the non-refundable components of your trip. Please consult the terms and conditions of the policy offer for details and exclusions. 

While I consider myself very well-traveled, I haven’t made it to every corner of the globe just yet—but trust me, it’s definitely on my list! I specialize in Asia, Europe, and Mexico because I have spent a lot of time exploring these places and while I love planning trips to places I’ve personally experienced, I know destinations can change over time. 

That’s why, as a travel advisor with a strong network of in-destination partners and industry experts, I can lean on first-hand knowledge from trusted colleagues around the world. I do thorough research to build the best itinerary for you, backed by valuable insights, saving you hours of planning and ensuring a fantastic experience.

PLANNING SERVICE FEES: 

The Pampered Tourist implements travel planning fees for time and expertise provided.   These fees do vary depending on the type of trip, length of stay, complexity and group travel all play into the fee assessment.  A non-refundable travel planning charge is requested for trip research to begin.  This establishes a mutual agreement between you, the client, and The Pampered Tourist.   Service fees are always fully disclosed and agreed upon before work begins.   You can rest assured that service fees are fair and very much worth it! COMMISSIONS: 

Our trusted suppliers have a partnership with travel advisors and agencies to provide commissions as part of their working relationship.  These do not come at an additional cost to you and allow us to keep our service fees low.  Often, this includes exclusive amenities!
