Hi, I'm Karen G., the owner of The Pampered Tourist. It all started when I went to Germany for the summer at age 14. My father arranged an exchange with a family in Munich. Getting to explore a new country, with a different language, currency, and culture was an eye-opener to the greater world beyond me and it sparked a deep sense of curiosity from then on.
I spent the next 30 years working to build customer service organizations across the globe and every time I had the chance to take a side trip, I did. I gave the gift of travel experiences as gifts to my family and the memories we have are truly priceless. We have put our stamp on Paris, Thailand, Singapore, Greece, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Mexico and many more.
I remember travel more than any other experience. There is so much to see, do, and learn from travel beyond just the typical tourist spots and how you travel is just as important as where you go. So, I retired early and started The Pampered Tourist to share my passion and knowledge of global travel and continue my love of providing amazing customer service.
